RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH
THE LAKE GEORGE OPERA FESTIVAL
RESOLUTION NO. 496, 96

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION
SECONDED BY: Mr. Fred Champagne
WHEREAS, the Lake George Opera Festival presents, in the Town
of Queensbury, numerous performances and events, and
WHEREAS, the Lake George Opera Festival promotes the cultural
development of the community, and
WHEREAS, the Lake George Opera Festival has requested funds
for the promotion of its performances and events, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury desires to
enter into an agreement with the Lake George Opera Festival for the
promotion of performances and events to the residents of the Town
of Queensbury,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the Contract set forth above, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that payment due on said Contract, in the sum of
TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($2,250.00), for the year
1997, to be paid from account 001-6410-4400 (Publicity).
Duly adopted this 16th day of December, 1996, by the following
