RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE NEW YORK STATE
OFFICE OF PARKS, RECREATION AND HISTORIC PRESERVATION
AND THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY CONCERNING $81,612 GRANT FOR
THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE HUDSON RIVER PARK AND RECREATION AREA

WHEREAS, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has
awarded grant funds to the Town of Queensbury for the development and construction of the Hudson
River Park and Recreation Area in the Town of Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation
(OPRHP) has forwarded a proposed agreement for the grant funds to the Town of Queensbury, said
Agreement being in the standard form for contracts with New York State and OPRHP,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby approves of the
Agreement between the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and the
Town of Queensbury for the grant funds for the development of the Hudson River Park and
Recreation Area and further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to execute said Agreement.
