RESOLUTION TO SET TOWN COMPTROLLER'S SALARY FOR 1997

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, a new Town Comptroller was appointed by the Town
Board of the Town of Queensbury on July 15, 1996 by Resolution No.
306, 96, and
WHEREAS, such resolution established the Town Comptroller's
salary at a rate of $43,000 per annum paid on a prorated weekly
basis,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
establishes the Town Comptroller's salary for 1997 at an initial
rate of $43,000 per annum to be paid on a prorated weekly basis,
subject to adjustment by the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury
during the year.
Duly adopted this 6th day of January, 1997, by the following
vote:
AYES : Mrs. Monahan, Mr. Turner, Mrs. Goedert, Mr. Champagne
