RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO REINTRODUCTION OF
WOLVES INTO THE ADIRONDACK PARK

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION
SECONDED BY: Mr. Theodore Turner
WHEREAS, the Adirondack Association of Towns and Villages
(AATV) has expressed its opposition to the proposed reintroduction
of wolves into the Adirondack Park, and
WHEREAS, AATV has asked the Town Board of the Town of
Queensbury to consider supporting its position, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury agrees with
this position,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town of Queensbury hereby expresses its
support of the AATV's opposition to reintroduction of wolves into
the Adirondack Park, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor's Office is directed to
forward a copy of this resolution to the AATV.
Duly adopted this 3rd day of March, 1997, by the following
vote:
