RESOLUTION APPROVING SALE OF TRUCK CRANE
BY HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, Town Highway Superintendent Paul Naylor has requested
Town Board approval to sell one used truck crane to the Saratoga-
Washington-Warren-Hamilton-Essex Counties BOCES (BOCES) for the
amount of $2,000, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to §142 of the New York State Highway Law,
the Town Highway Superintendent may, with the approval of the Town
Board, sell any such machinery, tools, implements and equipment
which are no longer needed by the Town, and
WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has deemed that the
Town of Queensbury has no further use for this truck crane,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
approves of the Town Highway Superintendent's sale of a used truck
crane to BOCES, subject to the Town of Queensbury's receipt of a
waiver of liability from BOCES in form to be approved by Town
Counsel, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the proceeds of the sale will be deposited in
the appropriate Town account in accordance with Town policy and
Laws of the State of New York.
