216.97 RESOLUTION RETAINING NACE ENGINEERING TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING AND DESIGN SERVICES IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PROPOSED SWEET ROAD CAPITAL PROJECT RESOLUTION NO. 216, 97 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Theodore Turner WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mrs. Carol Pulver WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent and Town Highway Committee are aware of drainage problems and poor surface conditions on Sweet Road between New York State Route 9 (NYS Route 9) and Country Club Road, and WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury previously retained the services of VanDusen & Steves Land Surveyors to provide surveying services to provide the necessary base mapping and boundary line detail along the affected right-of-way, and WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury now desires to retain engineering and design services for the Sweet Road Capital improvement project, and WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has obtained a quote of $9,000 from Nace Engineering for the engineering and design services, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby approves of the retention of Nace Engineering to provide the engineering and design services described in the preambles hereof at a cost not to exceed $9,000 to be paid for from the Sweet Road Capital Project Account #109.
