RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGAGEMENT OF JIM GIRARD LANDSCAPING
FOR MOWING OF RIDGE ROAD LANDFILL CLOSURE PROPERTY

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has
previously adopted purchasing procedures, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to retain services for the mowing of
the closure property at the Ridge Road Landfill, and
WHEREAS, James Coughlin, Solid Waste Facilities Operator, has
received three proposals for the mowing services and recommended
retention of Jim Girard Landscaping, and
WHEREAS, Jim Girard Landscaping has provided a Certificate of
Liability Insurance naming the Town as certificate holder and
additional insured,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves of the retention
of the services of Jim Girard Landscaping to mow the closure
property located at the Ridge Road Landfill for the total amount of
$1,395, said proposal to be paid for from the appropriate landfill
account.
Duly adopted this 7th day of July, 1997, by the following
vote:
