RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TOWN CLERK TO SUBMIT PETITION
FOR CHANGE OF ZONE FOR CRACKER BARREL OLD COUNTRY STORE
FROM SFR-10 TO HC-1A
TO TOWN OF QUEENSBURY PLANNING BOARD

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has
previously approved a form entitled, "Petition for a Change of
Zone" for rezoning matters, and has directed that the same be used
for rezoning requests, and
WHEREAS, any and all applications for rezoning first go to the
Planning Department and Planning Board for recommendations pursuant
to §179-94 of the Town of Queensbury Zoning Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, following such recommendations, the Town Board of the
Town of Queensbury will then review the Rezoning Applications and
take such other action as it shall deem necessary and proper, and
WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted a Petition for a Change
of Zone as described below and such Petition has been reviewed by
the Town Planning Staff and deemed complete for purposes of review,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
authorizes and directs that the following application be submitted
to the Planning Board for the Town of Queensbury for report and
recommendation:

RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
indicates that it desires to be Lead Agency for the SEQRA review of
this project and directs that the Zoning Administrator's Office
notify any other involved agencies of this.

vote:

Councilman Monahan: I would like to request that Planning Board
look at the uses allowed in the Highway Commercial Zone and to make
comments of any that they feel are inappropriate to be used in that
particular area of town.
