RESOLUTION APPOINTING COOL INSURING AGENCY, INC.
AS TOWN OF QUEENSBURY INSURANCE AGENT FOR 1998

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury previously retained the
consulting services of CONFIRM, INC., to evaluate the Town of Queensbury’s insurance
needs and prepare a Request for Proposals to send to insurance agents/brokers interested
in providing insurance coverage to the Town for the year 1998, and
WHEREAS, CONFIRM, INC., reviewed all proposals and has recommended that
the Town retain the services of Cool Insuring Agency, Inc. in accordance with Cool
Insuring’s insurance proposal dated November 14, 1997, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury concurs with CONFIRM,
INC.’s recommendation to retain the services of Cool Insuring Agency, Inc.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby authorizes
and directs the Town Controller to retain the services of Cool Insuring Agency, Inc., to
provide insurance coverage to the Town of Queensbury for the year 1998 in accordance
with Cool Insuring’s insurance proposal dated November 14, 1997, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
any agreements that may be necessary, in form approved by Town Counsel, for these
services.
