RESOLUTION PERMANENTLY APPOINTING RALPH VANDUSEN AS
WATER SUPERINTENDENT AND BRUCE OSTRANDER AS
DEPUTY WATER SUPERINTENDENT

WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 22,98, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury
appointed Mr. Ralph VanDusen to the position of Water Superintendent/Director of Wastewater on a
temporary basis until further notice from the Town Board, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury wishes to appoint Mr. VanDusen as
Water Superintendent/Director of Wastewater on a permanent basis, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, at the recommendation of Mr.
VanDusen, wishes to appoint Mr. Bruce Ostrander, Chief Operator, to the additional position of
Deputy Water Superintendent that was previously held by Mr. VanDusen,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby appoints Mr. Ralph
VanDusen to the permanent position of Water Superintendent/Director of Wastewater and Mr. Bruce
Ostrander, Chief Operator, to the permanent, additional position of Deputy Water Superintendent, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor’s Office is hereby authorized and directed to complete
such forms as may be required by Civil Service concerning the appointments of Mr. VanDusen and Mr.
Ostrander.
