RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF FORD TAURUS
STATION WAGON FOR DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has previously adopted purchasing
procedures and in accordance with said procedures, any purchase in an amount of $5,000 or greater,
up to New York State bidding limits, must be approved by the Town Board, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has proposed to purchase a Ford Taurus
station wagon for his Department's use for an amount not to exceed $16,830, and
WHEREAS, NYS Bidding is not required, since the vehicle to be purchased is under State
Contract,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby approves of the
purchase of one 1998 Ford Taurus station wagon from Metro Ford, in an amount not to exceed
$16,830, to be paid for from Account No.: 01-7110-2020.
