RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ELECTRICAL WORK AT
HIGHWAY BUILDING BY HEWITT YOUNG ELECTRIC

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury Facilities Manager has advised that it is
necessary to replace certain aged and defective electrical components at the Town Highway
Building, and
WHEREAS, the Facilities Manager received quotes for such reconstruction work
and the lowest quote is from Hewitt Young Electric dated September 16, 2020 in the
amount of$16,600,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes the replacement
of certain aged and defective electrical components at the Town Highway Building by
Hewitt Young Electric in accordance with its quote dated September 16, 2020 in the amount
of $16,600 substantially in the form presented at this meeting to be paid from Building
Repairs Account No.: 001-1620-4070-0023, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs that funding for
such work shall be by a transfer of$16,600 from the Building and Grounds Department's
undesignated, unassigned Fund Balance Account No.: 001-0000-0909 to Building Repairs
Account No.: 001-1620-4070-0023, and the Town Budget Officer shall amend the 2020
Town Budget, make any adjustments, budget amendments, transfers or prepare any
documentation necessary to effectuate payment, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town
Supervisor to sign any needed documentation and the Town Supervisor, Facilities Manager
and/or Budget Officer to take such other and further action as may be necessary to effectuate
the terms of this Resolution.

• Provide Eaton certified cleaning
Total -$16,600.00
Clarifications:
• All work to be performed on normal working hours
• Excludes special insurance and bond
• Excludes any hardware/equipment not specifically listed in this scope of work
• Excludes any and all Allowances
• Material Sales Tax Excluded
