DIESEL OIL TO BE USED AS FUEL FOR OPERATION OF
HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT AND KEROSENE FOR THE TOWN LANDFILL

WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing for the Town of Queensbury, Warren County, New
York, duly advertised for bids for #2 fuel oil for heating purposes, diesel oil to be used as fuel for
operation of the Town’s highway equipment and kerosene for the Town of Queensbury Landfill,
pursuant to Town of Queensbury specifications, and
WHEREAS, copies of the bids have been presented to this meeting, and
WHEREAS, Darleen Dougher, Town Clerk and Chuck Rice, Town Facilities Manager, have

recommended that the bids be awarded to , the low bidder for the #2
fuel oil, diesel oil and kerosene,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby awards the bids for the
Agway Petroleum Corporation
#2 fuel oil, diesel oil and kerosene to , to be paid for from the
appropriate department accounts from the 1998 budgets.
