WHEREAS, the Adirondack Runners Club and West Glens Falls Volunteer Fire Company
have requested permission to conduct a foot race for the benefit of their organizations, as follows:

PLACE :
Beginning at St. Alphonsus Church, Broad Street, Glens Falls and
ending at the West Glens Falls Firehouse on Luzerne Road,
Queensbury
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby requires receipt of
proof of insurance from the Adirondack Runners Club and West Glens Falls Volunteer Fire Company
to hold their One Mile Firemen’s Run in the Town of Queensbury, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves this event subject to confirmation of
insurance and approval by the Town Highway Superintendent, which may be revoked due to concern
for road conditions at any time up to the date and time of the event.
