RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY AND THE TOWN OF
QUEENSBURY UNIT OF THE CIVIL SERVICE EMPLOYEES
ASSOCIATION, INC. (CSEA) AND NEW CONTRACT

WHEREAS, on or about August 23, 1995, the Town of Queensbury (Town) entered into an
Agreement with the Town of Queensbury Unit of the Civil Service Employees Association, Inc.
(CSEA) regarding employment of the Town’s CSEA members, and

WHEREAS, the Agreement terminated on December 31, 1997, but by its terms continued to
remain in full force and effect until a new agreement could be finalized, and
WHEREAS, the Town and the CSEA have negotiated terms for a new contract and an
agreement has now been reached between the parties, and
WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Agreement between the Town and the CSEA has been
presented at this meeting and is in form approved by Town Counsel,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby approves of the
Memorandum of Agreement with the Town of Queensbury Unit of the Civil Service Employees
Association, Inc., a copy of which is presented at this meeting, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby authorizes and directs
the Town Supervisor to execute a Union Contract revised to incorporate the terms of the
Memorandum of Agreement and to take such other and further action necessary to effectuate the terms
of this Resolution.
