RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
TOWN OF QUEENSBURY AND ADIRONDACK THEATRE FESTIVAL
RESOLUTION NO. 450.98

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Adirondack Theatre Festival presents numerous performances and events
annually in the Town of Queensbury and the City of Glens Falls, thereby promoting the cultural
development of the community, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury wishes to enter into an agreement
with the Adirondack Theatre Festival for the promotion of performances and events to the residents of
the Town of Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement has been prepared in form approved by Town Counsel and
has been presented at this meeting,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby authorizes and directs
the Town Supervisor to execute the Agreement with the Adirondack Theatre Festival and that funding
for the Agreement be paid for from the appropriate Town account.
