RESOLUTION APPOINTING SIMONE RAMSEY TO THE POSITION OF
TYPIST IN THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
RESOLUTION NO. 30, 1999

WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation wishes to appoint a full-time Typist in the
Parks and Recreation Department, and
WHEREAS, the Director and the Town Recreation Commission posted availability for the
vacant full-time Typist position, reviewed resumes and interviewed interested candidates from the
Warren County Civil Service List, and
WHEREAS, the Director and Recreation Commission Personnel Committee have made a
hiring recommendation to the Town Board,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby appoints Simone
Ramsey to the position of Typist in the Queensbury Department of Parks and Recreation effective

January 11, 1999 and subject to a six month probation period, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that Ms. Ramsey shall be paid a salary of $10.74 per hour to be paid on a weekly
basis, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor and/or Town Comptroller are hereby authorized and
directed to complete any forms necessary to effectuate this Resolution.
