077.99 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING CENTRAL FLEET INTERNAL SERVICE FUND AND AMENDING 1998 TOWN BUDGET RESOLUTION NO.: 77. 99 INTRODUCED BY: MR. RICHARD MERRILL WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: MR. PLINEY TUCKER WHEREAS, during the 1999 budgeting process, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury established an appropriation for Department 1640 Central Fleet Management which appropriation was to provide for the creation of a Fleet Management System, and WHEREAS, the Town Comptroller has advised the Town Board that it must now establish a Central Fleet Internal Service Fund as prescribed by the New York State Uniform System of Accounts, and WHEREAS, the Town Board must also amend its 1998 Town Budget by authorizing a transfer of funds to provide initial working capital for the Central Fleet Internal Service Fund, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby authorizes and directs the establishment of a Central Fleet Internal Service Fund as prescribed by the New York State th Uniform System of Accounts and as proposed by the Town Comptroller in his February 25 Memorandum attached to this Resolution, and BE IT FURTHER, 1 RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby establishes initial appropriations for the Central Fleet Internal Service Fund in the amount of $208,000 and further authorizes a transfer of $208,000 from the Surplus Fund Balance of the General Fund (effective st December 31, 1998) to provide initial working capital for the Central Fleet Internal Service Fund, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby authorizes and directs the Town Comptroller’s Office to transfer funds, amend the 1998 Town Budget and take such other and further action necessary to effectuate the terms and provisions of this Resolution. st Duly adopted this 1 day of March, 1999, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Turner, Mr. Irish, Mr. Tucker, Mr. Merrill, Mr. Champagne NOES : None ABSENT: None 2
