063.99 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGAGEMENT OF O’BRIEN & GERE ENGINEERS, P.C. TO PERFORM FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR CORINTH ROAD CORRIDOR SEWER EXTENSION RESOLUTION NO.: 63, 99 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Pliney Tucker WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Douglas Irish WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury wishes to engage professional engineering services to study the costs and feasibility of installing sewers on Main Street and Corinth Road to the Carey Park in the Town of Queensbury, and WHEREAS, O’Brien & Gere Engineers, Inc., has offered to perform the required feasibility study for an amount not to exceed $8,200, and WHEREAS, Ralph VanDusen, Wastewater Director, has recommended that the Town Board engage the engineering services of O’Brien & Gere Engineers, Inc., as O’Brien & Gere has prior experience working with the utilities in this area of Queensbury and can immediately begin working on the project, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby authorizes and approves the engagement of the services of O’Brien & Gere Engineers, Inc., to perform a feasibility study for the Corinth Road corridor sewer extension, such engineering services not to exceed the total sum of $8,200 to be paid for from the appropriate account, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury authorizes and directs the Town’s Director of Wastewater and/or Supervisor to execute any forms or agreements, in form approved by Town Counsel, necessary to effectuate this Resolution. th Duly adopted this 10 day of February, 1999, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Irish, Mr. Tucker, Mr. Merrill, Mr. Turner, Mr. Champagne NOES : None ABSENT: None
