112.99 RESOLUTION INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY TRANSFER STATIONS AND AMENDING 1999 TOWN BUDGET RESOLUTION NO.: 112, 99 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Pliney Tucker WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Richard Merrill WHEREAS, as part of the monitoring and maintenance requirements of the closed Town of Queensbury Landfill, the Town of Queensbury must test certain wells quarterly and mow the closed area at least annually, at an estimated cost of $9,000 for 1999, and WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury wishes to increase the appropriations in the Transfer Stations’ 1999 Budget to fund these expenditures, and WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury has a Landfill Closure Reserve Fund No. 63, with a fund balance designated by the Town to be used for these specific purposes, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby increases appropriations and estimated revenues in the Town Transfer Station 1999 Budget in the associated contractual expenditure account and in the associated revenue account, to be determined by the Town Controller’s Office, in the amount of $9,000, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board wishes to adjust designated fund balance in the Landfill Closure Reserve Fund No. 63, reducing the testing and maintenance designated portion by $9,000 and transferring the $9,000 to the Town of Queensbury Transfer Station Fund, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves, authorizes and directs the Town Controller’s Office to make any necessary adjustments, transfers or prepare any necessary documentation to effectuate the terms of this Resolution. th Duly adopted this 5 day of April, 1999, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Tucker, Mr. Merrill, Mr. Turner, Mr. Irish, Mr. Champagne NOES : None ABSENT: None
