RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADOPTION OF
FLEET MANAGEMENT POLICY

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION
SECONDED BY: Mr. Pliney Tucker
WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 77.99, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury
authorized the establishment of a Central Fleet Internal Service Fund to provide working capital for the
creation of a Fleet Management System, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board now wishes to adopt a Fleet Management Policy as submitted
by the Town’s Fleet Manager, which Policy will provide for the management of the Town’s fleet of
motor vehicles, and
WHEREAS, the Policy has been presented at this meeting and is in form approved by the
Town Board, Town Controller and Town Counsel,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby adopts the Town of
Queensbury Fleet Management Policy presented at this meeting, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury further authorizes and directs
the Fleet Manager to distribute copies of this Policy to all Town Departments.
