1988-12-20 SP 5 33 SPECIAL TOWN BOA.i O MEETING DECEMBER 20, 1988 6:00 P.M. MEMBERS PRESENT Supervisor Stephen Borgos Councilman Marilyn Potenza Councilman Ronald Montesi Councilman Betty Monahan Paul Dusek-Town Attorney MEMBERS ABSENT Councilman George Kurosaka PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE LED BY COUNCILMAN MONAHAN SUPERVISOR BORGOS-Requested that the Town Attorney review the proposed resolution. PAUL DUSEK-TOWN ATTORNEY-At the time the Board had the contracts on the Rescue Squad and Fire Houses before them the fire houses contained a provision that in addition to the monetary amounts that we paid to the fire house there would be certain emergency type snow plowing done, enough to clear the doors and provide parking in six places, they will still do their snow plowing but this will allow vehicles access to the buildings. i did not include that provision in the ambulance contracts,at the time I drafted it, it was my thought that all the rescue squads were part of that, even though I knew they were separate entities I thought they were all in the some buildings, which of course they are not. I discovered the error, on Saturday and thought the best thing to do would be to bring it to the Boards attention and just have a quick notice corrective of public hearing sent out just advising of that. The meetings, everything will stay the same it is just the addition of one little paragraph in the ambulance contract saying that snow plow activities will also occur.
