RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN TOWN
OF QUEENSBURY AND LITERACY VOLUNTEERS

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury believes it is appropriate and
beneficial to the Town to provide remedial reading services to Town of Queensbury adult residents
with reading difficulties and therefore wishes to enter into an agreement with Literacy Volunteers for
the provision of these services, and
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement between the Town of Queensbury and Literacy
Volunteers, in form approved by Town Counsel, is presented at this meeting,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby approves of the
Agreement between the Town and Literacy Volunteers and authorizes and directs the Town
Supervisor to execute the Agreement, with funding for the Agreement to be paid for from the
appropriate Town account.
