RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN TOWN OF
QUEENSBURY AND QUEENSBURY SENIOR CITIZENS, INC.

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury believes it appropriate and
beneficial to provide social and recreational activities and programs to Town of Queensbury senior
citizens and therefore wishes to contract with the Queensbury Senior Citizens, Inc. for these types of
activities and programs, and
WHEREAS, a proposed Agreement between the Town of Queensbury and Queensbury Senior
Citizens, Inc., in form approved by Town Counsel, is presented at this meeting, and
WHEREAS, this Agreement is permitted and authorized by New York State General
Municipal Law §95A,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby approves the
Agreement between the Town and Queensbury Senior Citizens, Inc. and authorizes and directs the
Town Supervisor to execute the Agreement, with funding for the Agreement to be paid for from the
appropriate Town account.
