MOTION TO APPROVE AREA VARIANCE NO. 8-1993 JOHN L. POLK JR. , y vM
Introduced by Fred Carvin who moved for its adoption , seconded by m N n

That we grant relief of one acre from the guidelines of Section moo z
179-12B ( 5 ) , with regards to the density for single family homes,
requiring that there be no more than one principal building on any > Z Z
single lot less than two acres. I also move that we grant relief U) N
of 22 . 99 feet from the required Town road frontage of 40 feet per D --I
Section 179-70A. I also move that we grant relief of 24 feet for C m D
Parcel Number One , so designated by the map , and 28 feet for the = D -1
westerly structure , designated Parcel Two, from the existing D v =
shoreline setbacks . I also move that we grant relief of 56 feet w M m
for Parcel Number One , and 60 feet for Parcel Number Two , from M Z D
Section 179-60B ( 1 ) (c ) , which requires 75 feet shoreline setback. < o v
The practical difficulty with these two particular parcel arises in m n n
attempting to create a two lot subdivision containing three 7Co -0 Z
preexisting structures. This would appear to be the minimum { D --i
variance necessary to alleviate the specific practical difficulty, c)
as the structures are preexisting, and as a result have become = D '

By granting this variance , it does not appear to be detrimental to z {O =

conflict with any plans or policies of the Town. There has been no
