The temporary solution is described as follows; decommissioning two existing seepage pits,re-habilitating and expanding two existing seepage pits and installing two new larger seepage pits. The temporary OWTS is being accepted based upon the formation of the proposed West Queensbury Sanitary Sewer District that will extend public sewer service to this facility. This approval is conditional on the following: 1. The temporary system is only acceptable for the period of time necessary to connect to the municipal sewer. This period of time shall not exceed two years. If in two years the facility has not connected to the municipal sewer, the applicant is required to re-apply to this office for a Permit to Operate a Food Service Establishment in accordance with Sub-Part 14-1 of the New York State Sanitary Code. 2. That the Glens Falls District Office(GFDO) shall be notified immediately if the temporary system fails to operate and inadequately treated sewage is observed at the ground surface. 3. That the proposed system modifications are constructed in accordance with the accepted plans. 4. That a design professional licensed in New York certifies that construction was completed in accordance with the accepted plans. 5.
