Area Variance Compliance Inspection Report
Name: Leo Bruce
Location: 7 Arberger Drive, Queensbury, NY
Area Variance No.: 84-2005
Building Permit No. (if any):,),o-o5_&(/
Date: January 26, 2006
Dear Mr. Bruce:
During an area variance compliance inspection on January 24, 2006, your
project was determined to be in violation per the relief granted in your
approval. The side setback relief granted for the carport addition was
conditioned on the removal of one of the two sheds on your property. The
condition specified one of the two sheds must be removed within 60 days of
the date of the approval, which was January 22, 2006. The follow-up
inspection on January 24, 2006 revealed both sheds are still on your
property.
It is my expectation you will contact this office by January 31, 2006 to
discuss the options you have to bring your site into compliance. Failure to
do so will result in the next level of enforcement action, which includes the
revocation of your approved area variance.
Sincerely yours,
Bruce Frank
Code Compliance Officer

Re: Parcel#316.6-1-12 Building Permit Applicafion #2005-661
Dear Mr. Bruce:
We are in receipt of your building permit application for a previously constructed
carport.
Additional information is required. You will need to provide the following:
- An area variance application for encroachment into side yard setbacks.
Distances do not meet requirements in Zoning Code §179-4-030 for WR-1 A
district. You will need review and approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals
(ZBA).
- There may be other code requirements that apply as well.
You can view all Queensbury Codes on-line at www.gueenskZurv.net.
r Please contact Susan Barden, our Land Use Planner, at 761-8265 to set up an
appointment to go over the requirements. Our deadline date for ZBA and/or Planning
Board applications is the 15th of each month. We respectfully request that you contact
us at least one week before applications are due. This will allow adequate time for
application submittal, review by staff, and any further changes that may need to be
made upon discussion. Thank you.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT NO BUILDING PERMITS CAN BE ISSUED UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE
ABOVE REQUIREMENTS HAVE BEEN MET.
Sincerely,
Town of Quee sbu
