The parcel has an existing residence which will be replaced by a new structure. Since the proposed structure includes an increase in impermeable (roof) area, stormwater mitigative measures are necessary. I suggest that a stone eave trench at the building drip line would be effective. I have attached a sketch and computations for 1000 square feet (sf) of roof area. If the construction proposed 2000 sf of new roof, simply double the length required for 1000 sf. The trench should be critically placed to collect eave discharges. The area adjacent to the trench should be graded to direct roof runoff into the eave trench. Doug, I trust the attached is sufficient for your request.
