Meeting of the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury
held at
Queensbury Central School, Monday, ~ovember 5, 1962 at 6:45 P. M.
Present - Kushner, Kirkpatrick, Glass, Dean

CHAIRNAN George J.. Kushner named as Chairman to serve for one year.
SECRET~~X M. H.. Simmonds appointed to serve as Secretary.
REGULAR MEETING The first Wednesday of each month was established
as the regular monthly meeting of the Planning Board, with
additional meetings as determined by the board.
PLANNING INSTITUTE The chairman discussed the various topics on
the agenda of the annual Planning Institute held in Saratoga Springs
November I & 2. In addition to the chairman who attended sess.ions
on both days, Glâs~, Dean & S~onds attended the Friday morning
meetings.

MAPS The chairman requested J. Arthur Norton to confer with the
Tm.¡n Surveyor and secure a map of the Town. Also requested Hammond
Robertson to secure the map produced by the forner Zoning Commission.
These to be available at the next meeting.
TO\-nJ ORDINANCES Secretary to contact Supervisor John Webster
regarding availability of TOvTn Ordinances.
OPERATING FUNDS It is evident the Board will require funds with
vlhich to operate during the coming year. While it is difficult at
this time to determine the amount that may be needed, i,.¡e are
requesting the To~~ Board to consider an appropriation of $lQOO.OO
for the calendar year 1963.
PUBLICITY When the Planning Board considers it desirable to give
publicity to certain of its decisions or plans, it was decided this
could best be accomplished by suggesting the nature of the publicity
to Supervisor John Webster for final decision and release by the
TOvffi Board.
