Meeting of the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury
held at
Queensbury Central School

1. Signed applications for Planning Assistance were reviewed. These
will now be submitted to the New York State Dep1t. of Commerce.
2'0 Mr Webster submitted certified copies of Resolution #14~, dated
September 19, 1963, passed by the Town Board, appropriating $1+,396.00
as the share of the Tmin of Queensbury of the Joint Urban Planning
Program. This amends Resolution #102, dated June 20, 1963 at which
time $4 145.00 was approved.
Mr Webster also submitted certified copies of Resolution #l~~, dated
September 19 1963 passed by the Town Board authorizing the
Supervisor, &r John O. Webster to execute an ag.reement with the
State of New York on behalf of the Town of Queensbury.
3. Planning Board indicated to Supervisor Webster that a mil1:1rn11.Dl of"
$4.00.00 should be included in the Town Budget to cover expenses
of the Planning Board, for the calendar year ~964.
4. Mr Webater requested recommendations from the Planning Board as to
the desirability of a "Mobile Home" ordinance. Mr Webster indicated
that the use of trailers is increasing and an ordinance to control
the growth of mobile homes on a sound basis may be desirable.
5. The Town Board requested the opinion and possible recommendations
of the Planning Board concerning "Rural Numbering".
6. Mr Webster led a discussion of a Plat approval program, giving
several recent examples in eluding the request of NeIson W. Griggs.
Mr Griggs will attend the next meeting of the Planning Board on
October 2, 1963.
