This is a violation of Chapter 136 and Chapter 137: where the system is leaching effluent outside the boundaries of the system. The system must be repaired and/or replaced. If you should choose to replace the system after the sale of the property you must apply for a waiver to repair and/or replace the system, this will require a $2000 deposit (payable to the Town of Queensbury) and a signed and notarized letter stating the system will be repaired within 6 months of the sale of the property but on or before June 1, 2021. The Town of Queensbury should be advised as to any action, application or permit taken to repair or replace the system, if necessary. If you should have any questions please feel free to contact me.
