RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING OF TEMPORARY LABORER
IN TOWN WATER DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Town Water Superintendent has requested Town Board authorization to hire
one (1) temporary Laborer to work during the summer for the Town’s Water Department,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the hiring of one
(1) temporary Laborer to work during the summer for the Town Water Department commencing on or
stth
about June 1, 2009 through August 28, 2009 subject to the Town successfully completing
background checks as reasonably may be necessary to judge fitness for the duties for which hired,
and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that such temporary employee shall be paid $13.00 per hour as set forth in Town
Board Resolution No.: 615,2008 to be paid from the appropriate payroll account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Water
Superintendent and/or Town Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any action necessary to
effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
