Recently however there has been evidence of a saturation condition in the field which would indicate a clogging of the soil under the field or possibly broken or clogged piping. I believe there has been no maintenance of this system since it was constructed. I have enclosed a copy of the original plan I prepared May 20, 1981 and request a permit to excavate a test hole in the field area and determine the nature of the problem. I anticipate that it will be necessary to remove the stone bed and several inches of sand under the bed and replace these materials -Is per the original design. New plastic piping will be installed.
