application for permit under Environmental Conservation Lawn, Article 15,
Title 5 (Protection of Water) . Please note the special conditions
included on the back of the permit. If you have any questions , please
feel free to contact i`i chael P. White of the Regulatory Affairs Office
in Warrensburg.
Also enclosed is a sign which you are to post in a conspicuous
location on the work site and adequately protect from the weather.
It is also a condition of this permit that you are required to notify
the Forest Ranger at least two days in advance of starting work on
your project. Work done under this permi t is subject to inspection
by Forest Rangers and Environmental Conservation Officers.

Based upon a review of your Feb. 25, 1984 request for water
quality certification pursuant to Section 401 (a) (1 ) of the Clean
Waters Act of 1977 (PL 95-217) (The Act) , the Department hereby
certifies that any discharges into the navigable waters of the United
States caused by the project will comply with the applicable Federal
effluent limitations or other limitations or standards under Sections
301 , 302, 306 and 307 of the Act, provided that:
(1 ) There are no future changes in any of the following that
would result in non-compliance with Sections 301 , 302, 306
and 307 of the Act:
(a) The project as described in the application
(b) The water quality criteria applicable to such
waters , or
(c) Applicable effluent limitations or other require-
ments; and
