These tests are for a proposed replacement of an existing failed system The proposed system is to be installed in the same general area as the deep holes and percolation test holes . The bottom of the new system will be approximately 24" below existing grade. The soils have an average stabilized percolation rate of 8.4 minutes. • A review of the system plans by Scudder Engineering, dated December 27, 2006, is consistent with the information listed above as well as the requirements of both the Town of Queensbury and appendix 75-A of the New York State Health Department regulations. Because this is a replacement of an existing system it is not mandatory that a 50% expansion area be designated. If an expansion or replacement is necessary, a new system will have to be designed.
