- Remove fire foam from around the bar joists on both sides of wall. The foam is for wood framing firestopping.
The product you want is made by BOSS PRODUCTS.
- Seal all penetrations through demise walls with an approved fire caulk or Boss Products fire foam on both sides.
- Demise wall next to overhead door needs to be filled in with sheetrock and fire taped at concrete floor.
- Seal bottom of demise walls on both sides with an approved fire caulk.
