RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROMOTION OF PETER SMITH
FROM MOTOR EQUIPMENT OPERATOR TO WORKING FOREMAN
IN TOWN HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Highway Superintendent has recommended that the Town Board
authorize the promotion of Peter Smith from Motor Equipment Operator to Working Foreman in the Town’s
Highway Department as Mr. Smith has met the qualifications and has the required job experience for the position, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize the requested promotion,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the promotion of Peter Smith

from Motor Equipment Operator to Working Foreman effective on or about July 27, 2010 at the rate of pay specified
in the Town’s CSEA Union Agreement for the position, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Town Highway
Superintendent and/or Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any action necessary to effectuate the terms of
this Resolution.
