was present. Lir. O'Connor discussed question of the State absolving
the .two separate subdivisions. Vacant areas - lot owners will have
undivided interest. Discussion followed. Letter from r,ir. O'Connor
regarding access to adjoining property. :1otion by Sinnott seconded
by Richardson·to grant preliminary approval. Carried

regard to 15 ft. easement and buffer zone. r.1otion by Horton to recommend
appróval with final grading plûn to be approved by the Tovm Engineer and

beauty shop in his home. Applicant did not appear. The ßoard was
concerned about parking and neighbors' feelings and safety in use of
basement for a beauty shop. r.~tlon by norton seconded by Sinnott to

Variance #377 p First Uational Bank of Glens Falls ;. Quaker Road - to build
on .the propertyllne in lieu of the required 20 ft. setback. Lyle Gregory
and Robert Dehais appeared fram the Dank and George Clark, Arch1tect
also present. Proposed road discussed - it will take a year. Hr. Clark
discussed the proposed bank building and connecting with existing bank
building. rtt. Norton di scussed the proposed road and traffic light.

regard to the question of road approval the Town Doard must accept the road.

Variance #378, Georae. I. Bovchuk, Quaker Road - to place an oversized
sign 15 ft. from the front property line in lieu of the required 50 ft.
setback. John Lemery attorner present. Discussed sign request .. a bank
carpet store and others. Mot on by Norton seconded by Sinnott to
recommend approval of oversized sign and reject setback request -
applicant to get approval of Queensbury Committee for Community
Beautification on plantings. ¡Aotion carried unanimously.
Special Permit #52. Glens Falls Gountrv Club Inc., Country Club Road -
to place a maintenance building in a R-3 Zone. . Gene Choppa of Cushing,
Chop'pa Associates, Architects presented proposed building plans. i.lotion
by ..10nahan seconded by Sinnott to recommend approval. !totion carried.
