RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISIONS TO
TOWN LANDFILL (TRANSFER STATION) FEE SCHEDULE

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Landfill Equipment Operator has reviewed the fees
presently being charged at the Town’s Transfer Stations and has recommended that the Town Board
trash bags
approve revisions to the Town’s Landfill (Transfer Station) Fee Schedules to raise fees for
only
as follows:
Item Current Fee Proposed New Fee
0-16 gallon trash bag $ 2.00 each $ 2.50 each
17-32 gallon trash bag $ 3.00 each $ 3.50 each
32-48 gallon trash bag $ 5.00 each $ 5.50 each
49-64 gallon trash bag $ 6.00 each $ 6.50 each
64-90 gallon trash bag $ 9.00 each $ 9.50 each
and
WHEREAS, the Town Board concurs with the Landfill Equipment Operator’s
recommendations,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves the revisions to the Town’s
Landfill (Transfer Station) Fee Schedule as delineated in the preambles of this Resolution, and
BE IT FURTHER,

RESOLVED, that the new fees shall take effect as of October 15, 2010, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Landfill Equipment Operator and/or Town Budget Officer to take any and all action necessary to
effectuate the new fee schedule and all terms of this Resolution.
