RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GRANT APPLICATION FROM NEW
YORK STATE OFFICE OF COURT ADMINISTRATION FOR FUNDS
TO BE USED FOR TOWN COURT IMPROVEMENTS

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Justice Court has advised the Town Board that a
Capital Improvement Fund Grant from the New York State Office of Court Administration (OCA) is
now available to provide funding to the Town for Town Court improvements, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize an application for these grant funds up to
the maximum grant amount available,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town
Supervisor and/or Town Justices to apply for a Capital Improvement Fund Grant, up to the maximum
grant amount available, from the New York State Office of Court Administration (OCA) to be used by
the Town for Town Court improvements and take any further actions necessary to effectuate the terms
of this Resolution.
