RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
TRANSPORTATION TO WARREN-HAMILTON COUNTIES ACEO, INC. -
COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury duly advertised for bids for the Transportation Services
for the Queensbury Senior Citizens for the year 2011, and
WHEREAS, the Warren-Hamilton Counties ACEO, Inc. - Community Action Agency has
offered to provide such Transportation Services for the amount of $22,000, and
WHEREAS, the Town’s Purchasing Agent has recommended that the Town Board award the
bid to the Warren-Hamilton Counties ACEO, Inc. - Community Action Agency, the only and therefore
lowest, responsible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby awards the contract for the
Transportation Services for the Queensbury Senior Citizens for the year 2011 to the Warren-Hamilton
Counties ACEO, Inc. - Community Action Agency for the amount of $22,000 to be paid from the
appropriate account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Town
Budget Officer, Accountant and/or Purchasing Agent to take such other and further action as may be
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
