We are in the process of purchasing this from Ray and Sandra Van Guilder contingent on perk test results. The layout shows the relative position of the home and proposed septic site. We will be using town water from the street, so no well water will be involved. We are flexible with the location of the house and septic system, so if relocating a deep test and perk holes is necessary due to adverse soil conditions, we can do this. It goes without saying that we would like to keep the costs in-line and still allow for a practical and safe septic system. Please advise us on the next step in this process. I find that the installation is within the intent of the design documents. The stabilized percolation rate of the fill material was5 minutes and 21 seconds, which is within the design parameter Of 5- 7minutes, therefore there is not a requirement to re-design the septic system.
