Dear Mr. Brown:
Attached please find 15 sets of revised plans and stormwater report for the
referenced project. We have addressed the engineering comments of Vision
Engineering's letter of March 14, 2008 as follows:
1. The abandoned portion of the existing driveway will be removed and re-
vegetated.
2. The site distance information for the new driveway is pending. NYSDOT
has issued a right of way work permit for this project based upon our plans
and their field inspection.
3. A maintenance section has been added to the stormwater report.
4. An infiltration trench has been added the bottom of the easterly basin. The
westerly basin is not designed to be infiltrating and therefore no trench has
been added.
5. Erosion and sediment control requirements of section 147-10 B and 147-10
C.2&3 are covered by the erosion & sediment control notes.
6. The driveway width has been reduced from the curve to the parking area.
In order to provide safe access to and from Route 9L we have kept the
entrance and first curve 20' wide. This is in accordance with the
discussions at the planning board meeting. For a driveway such as this
with 12' would be inadequate width.

Dear Chairman Hunsinger and Planning Board Members:
Enclosed please find revised plans for the referenced project. In accordance with your
suggestions of the March 18 planning board meeting, we have made a number of
changes to the plan. The driveway width has been reduced to 16' from the curve to the
parking area and the sideslope is to be established with vegetation instead of rip-rap.
The westerly sideslope has been flattened to 1V on 1.5H. Also the rip-rap has been
reduced within the stormwater areas and in the inlet and outlet areas of the culvert. We
have addressed the engineering comments on the plans and provided a separate letter
of response.
We look forward to discussing this project with the board on April 22.
