Augu,st 7, 1981 It is the findings of the Queensbury Planning Board acting as the agent for review on this environment assessment of Stonemere Development on Wes~Mountain, that no significant environmental impact would be felt by the granting of this development to proceed. The Planning Board felt there were some specific conditions that would have to be addressed if this project were to continue. 1. Y(e only agreed to a no significant i.mpact on the 22 acres of the Stonemere Development. Only the development on the lower level of the mountain - we would not consider the additional 30 acres (100 townhouse development) at this time. Although W8 did ask Mr. Brandt for an overall conceptual plan of the mountain, we felt that the degree of slopes, water run off, etc. would require a more detailed study and plan before a review could be conducted. 2. Stonemere should make some definite provision for water run off now if its plans for the future were to develop the additional 30 acres up the slope. 3. All septic system tanks and pits should have iron frames and covers for inspection purposes and these covers should be at grade level. 4. We would as a Town still maintain a degree of control and review from this time on, as ~E permit is required on septic systems and drainage. Move by Montesi that no significant environmental impact would result from this development, Seconded by Dybas. Vote - 6 Yes; 0 No for approval. ver'!! truly yours~ ,d(/~/7l'~ Ronald S.
