1. Minutes of August 5, 1981 meeting accepted.
2. Subdivision No. 7-80, Stonemere Phase I, Sector II, Northwest Road.
M. Brandt and G. Armando present. Motion by Dybas seconded by Threw
to amend map of 7-80 from 3.2 acres to 5.5 acres and add 2 more units,
making total of 16 units. Motion carried by vote of 5 yes. This
allows expansion of Phase I which lowers density and increases
acreage as per amended map dated 9-1-81. Need Department of Environ-
mental Conservation approval for septic.
3. Subdivision No. 12-80, Lakewood, John Mason, Developer. 14 lots (part
in Queensbury) east side Pilot Knob Road. Leon Steves and John Mason
present. 3 lots wholly in Queensbury, 4 partially in Queensbury,
5 buildings in Queensbury. Motion by Sorlin seconded by Threw to
grant Preliminary Approval. Motion carried by vote.5 yes. Public
hearing set for October 7, 1981
4. Subdivision No. 9-81, H.Russell Harris, 15 lots west of Jenkinsville
Road and east of Ridge Road north of stream that is outlet of Glen
Lake. Lots 1 acre to 5 plus acres. Leon Steves and Russell Harris
present. Motion by Harrison seconded by Dybas to grant Conceptual
Approval. Motion carried unanimously.
5. Variance No. 726, Clarence Conklin - to construct a detached garage
8 ft. from dwelling in lieu of the required 10 ft. on the property
situated at Jay Road off Glen Lake Road. Mr. Conklin was present.
Motion by Harrison seconded by Threw to recommend approval. Motion
carried unanimously. Recommendation for approval based on practical
difficulty due to location of well.
6. Variance No. 727, Bruce C. Fraser - to construct a one-family dwelling
with 15 ft. front setback in lieu of the required 30 ft. front setback
on the property situated at Cleverdale Road. (This property owned
by Jean Taylor) Motion by Sorlin seconded by Dybas to recommend
approval. Motion carried unanimously. Recommended approval in line
with recent decision to divide this lot and 15 ft. setback is not OUL
of character with rest of neighborhood. Bruce Fraser was present.

7. Variance No. 728, William Harvey, A Division of C. R. Bard, Inc. -
to use additional 1900 sq. ft. of existing building for develop-
mental lab for light manufacturing on the property situated at south
side of Quaker Road, between Meadowbrook Road and Everts Avenue
(former Boardman building). Thomas Barton represented the applicant.
Motion by Threw seconded by Harrison to recommend approval. Motion
carried unanimously. Taking additional 1940 sq. ft. of existing
building to accommodate William Harvey, A Division of C. R. Bard.
Four people with lab type environment immediately adjacent to exist-
ing area. Effect on traffic, parking and noise minimal. There will
be no significant change in the character of the neighborhood.
Meeting adjourned at 9:40 P.M. Next regular meeting Wednesday,
October 7, 1981.
