1. Minutes October 6, 1981 meeting accepted.
2. Subdivision No. 11-81, Slopey Enterprises, Inc., Jack Slopey,
Developer, 47 lots north side Pitcher Road. Charles T. Nacy
and Jack Slopey present on this subdivision. Clustered concept
on lot size for this subdivision. Motion by Montesi seconded
by Dybas to grant Conceptual Approval. Motion carried by vote
of 5 yes. Montesi and Dybas to make field trip.
3. Subdivision No. 7-81 PUBLIC HEARING, Rolling Ridge Estates,
Section No.4, 12 lots Wincoma Driye. Tom McCormack present
for this Public Hearing. Motion for Final Approval by Sorlin
seconded by Montesi. Carried unanimously. Approval subject
to SEQRA review - 1st and 2nd parts only. Dick Roberts to
sign map after SRQRA review.
4. Off-Premises Sign No. 13, Marylee Gosline, Lafayette Street.
Owner of Property, Caroline Hovey Pierce. Applicant, Marylee
Gosline was present. Motion by Montesi, seconded by Sorlin
to grant approval for this Off-Premises sign. Carried unanimously.
5. Off-Premises Sign No. 14, Attractions Land Co., Ltd. - located
at northeast corner of intersection 1-87 and Aviation Road - owned
by Leavitt and Hall, Inc. Mark A. Lebowitz represented the
applicant in this off-premises sign. Motion by Dybas seconded
by Harrison to deny this off-premises sign. Vote 5 yes and 1 no.
Motion to deny carried. The Board feels there are enough signs
in the area to direct people to Story town and the Blacksmith
Shop. There is no real problem of finding these businesses.
6. Special Permit No. 100, Lawrence G. Brand, Route 9 Cfor~er Tom
Murphy Sales) - to operate a gas stat~on ìn C-3 Zone on the
property situated at west side Route 9 (former Tom Murphy Auto
Sales). Motion by Mann seconded by Sorlin to recommend approval
of this Special Use Permit as it meets all requirements. Motion
carried unanimously. The applicant, Mr. Brand,was present.
Meeting adjourned at 8:30 P. M. Next regular meeting Tuesday
December 1, 1981 8 P. M.
