RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGAGEMENT OF C.T. MALE
ASSOCIATES FOR PREPARATION OF NEW YORK STATE
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BRIDGE NY GRANT FUNDING
APPLICATION – LUZERNE ROAD CULVERT PROJECT

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board wishes to engage C.T. Male Associates for
preparation of a 2021 New York State Department of Transportation Bridge NY Grant Funding
Application regarding a culvert replacement project on Luzerne Road at Clendon Brook in the Town
of Queensbury as delineated in C. T. Male’s March 31, 2021 Proposal and Contract Agreement
presented at this meeting,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs engagement of
C.T. Male Associates for preparation of a 2021 New York State Department of Transportation Bridge
NY Grant Funding Application regarding a culvert replacement project on Luzerne Road at Clendon
Brook in the Town of Queensbury as delineated in C. T. Male’s March 31, 2021 Proposal and
Contract Agreement substantially in the form presented at this meeting for an amount not to exceed
$3,800, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that such services shall be paid for from Engineering Account No.: 001-1440-
4720, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to
execute the Contract Agreement substantially in the form presented at this meeting and any other
necessary documentation including a Grant Funding application, and the Town Supervisor, Town
Highway Superintendent and/or Town Budget Officer to take all action necessary to effectuate the
terms of this Resolution.
