RESOLUTION NO. 257, Introduced by Mr. Ronald Montesi who moved for its adoption, seconded by Mrs. Betty Monahan: WHEREAS, there is a need for engineering supervision during the construction of the Quaker Road Sewer District, and WHEREAS, Kestner Engineers are the designers of the sewer system and are most familiar with the project, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board retain Kestner Engineers, P.C., Troy, New York to provide professional supervision-Quaker Road Sewer District - for a fee not to exceed: CONTRACT 3: $156,025.10 `— CONTRACT 4: $180,841.84 Duly adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Mr. Kurosaka, Mr. Montesi, Mrs. Monahan, Mrs. Walter Noes: None Absent: Mr. Borgos RESOLUTION TO CHANGE STREET NAME RESOLUTION NO. 258, Introduced by Mrs. Betty Monahan who moved for its adoption, seconded by Mr. Ronald Montesi: WHEREAS, the name Cobe Road is similar to another road in the Town of Queensbury (Coby) and pursuant to Resolution 247 of August 11, 1987 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the name Cobe Road be changed to SMOKE RIDGE ROAD. Duly adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Mr. Kurosaka, Mr. Montesi, Mrs. Monahan, Mrs. Walter Noes: None Absent: Mr. Borgos Ltr.- on file, Mr. Harold LaRose-permission to attend conference 30 RESOLUTION TO ATTEND SEMINAR RESOLUTION NO. 259, Introduced by Mr. Ronald Montesi who moved for its adoption, seconded by Mr. George Kurosaka: WHEREAS, Harold LaRose has requested permission to attend the Annual New York State Assessors conference NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that permission is hereby granted to Harold LaRose to attend the Annual New York State Assessors Conference on September 20th through September 23 rd. 1987, and be it further RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes payment of all reasonable and necessary expenses. RESOLUTION DESIGNATING PUBLIC SERVANTS FOR ISSUANCE OF PARKING VIOLATION PURSUANT TO LOCAL LAW NUMBER 1 OF 1987 OR AMENDED BY LOCAL LAW NUMBER 7 OF 1987 RESOLUTION NO. 260, Introduced by Mr. George Kurosaka who moved for its adoption, seconded by Mr. Ronald Montesi: WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Rueensbury duly enacted a local law authorizing the issuance of parking violation summonses in designated non-parking areas of Aviation Mall, and WHEREAS, the said local Law has been amended regarding the person or persons authorized to issue summonses for alleged violation, and WHEREAS, the Municipal Home Rule Law grants Rueensbury the right to create public servant positions and define their powers and duties, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the following named persons are hereby designated public servants for purposes of the issuance of parking violations at Aviation Mall: Richard McDonell, Michael Peot, Louis Gagliano and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the above named persons shall have no authority to act or perform any governmental service other than the issuance of parking violations at Aviation Mall. Duly adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Mr. Kurosaka, Mr. Montesi, Mrs. Monahan, Mrs. Walter Noes: None yy Absent:Mr. Borgos I SUPERVISOR WALTER-This is the end result of what your judges say will be necessary regarding the issuance of tickets. Letters will be going out to the mall managers to tell them that if any of these people change they will not be able to have their successors give the tickets they must come back before the Board with new names. RESOLUTION DESIGNATING PUBLIC SERVANTS FOR ISSUANCE OF PARKING VIOLATION PURSUANT TO LOCAL LAW NUMBER 5 OF 1987 OR AMENDED BY LOCAL LAW NUMBER 8 OF 1987 30-1 RESOLUTION NO. 261, Introduced by Mr. Ronald Montesi who moved for its adoption, seconded by Mr. George Kurosaka: WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Rueensbury duly enacted a local Law authorizing the issuance of parking violation summonses in designated non-parking areas of Northway Plaza, and WHEREAS, the said local law has been amended regarding the person or persons authorized to issue summonses for alleged violation, and WHEREAS, the Municipal Home Rule Law grants Queensbury the right to create public servant positions and define their powers and duties, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the following named persons are hereby designated public servants for purposes of the issuance of parking violations at Northway Plaza: William Swanson, Weston Turner, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the above named persons shall have no authority to act or perform any governmental service other than the issuance of parking violations at Northway Plaza. Duly adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Mr. Kurosaka, Mr. Montesi, Mrs. Monahan, Mrs. Walter Noes: None Absent: Mr. Borgos RESOLUTION TO APPROVE SPECIAL AUDIT OF BILLS RESOLUTION NO. 262 Introduced by Mr. Ronald Montesi who moved for its adoption, seconded by Mrs. Betty Monahan: RESOLVED, that Special Audit of Bills as appears on Abstract and Numbered 2910 through 2913 and totaling $314,547.48 be and hereby are approved.
