We are submitting an application for a building permit and. area valiance to construct an in-law
apartment in an existi ng family room in our home. The Town of Queensbury has asked that we
let our neighbors know of our plans for construction which will begin this summer and be
finished by fall . We believe that the Town Planning Board will include our plans on their June
2021 agenda should you wish to attend the monthly meeting.

Dear Commissioner:
We are submitting an application for a building permit and area variance to construct an in-law
apartment in an existing family room in our home. The space is approximately 624 square feet
and will have two separate entrances, front and back. There will be no change to the exterior of
the existing structure, other than adding a front door for the space. The property is 2 . 77 acres of
hand and we are applying for the area variance due to lot size and unit size.
