RESOLUTION APPOINTING ROBERT WESCOTT AS
SCHOOL TRAFFIC OFFICER
RESOLUTION NO.: 181, 2011

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, an additional, part-time School Traffic Officer (Crossing Guard) position exists
within the Town of Queensbury and the Town Board wishes to make an appointment to this position,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby appoints Robert Wescott as a School

Traffic Officer (Crossing Guard) on an “on-call” basis only, effective on or about May 17, 2011 at
$14.67 hourly (the current rate of pay for the position), subject to the Town successfully completing
background checks as reasonably necessary to judge fitness for the duties for which hired, and
drug and/or alcohol screening, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor and/or
Town Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any actions necessary to effectuate the terms of
this Resolution.
